The Top 10 Best Marriage Video Songs

By John Peter Hecke

Is there such a thing as the top 10 best wedding songs? That is dependent upon who you ask. But no matter even if the largest poll in the world produces the definitive list of the best wedding songs you need to still choose your wedding video play list with caution. Everybody has different tastes and whats right for another person may not be right for you.

A wedding is an especially individual event and is an extension of you characteristics, style, personality and taste. So picking some other person favs won't be the brightest idea. Times change fast and what you select out of today's mix may seem very outmoded in the future.

One of the most important wedding tunes in the last few years has been Take That's Greatest Day. It actually has a classic ring to it so chances are it will still have that classic edge in 30 years time. It's akin to picking Roberta Flack's The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face - classic gold.

Choosing classical music for intermission or crowd scenes is sure to be a great idea. It adds volume and variety to your wedding dvd. You can't fail ever with classical as many of the recordings are already centuries old and still sound amazing.

How many marriage videos that have I Gotta Feelingby The Black Eyed Peas in the soundtrack will sound very dated in the future. I do not believe I've been to a wedding in the last 2 years that hasn't had this played by the dj or band at some particular stage of the night.

No matter what anybody thinks you should have a few naughty pleasure songs that are special to both of you. Getting a song that implies something only to you whether it be Ac/Dc or Vangelis will individualise your dvd and make it more memorable. You have got to please yourself as it is your day and an extension of your relationship.
